Questions & Answers
How soon in advance should we plan to order our platter ?
Your platter will be fresher than your neighbour’s facelift, Cut fresh daily and hand-built no more than 24 hours before the required delivery date.
We then wrap and seal the platter and pack it into a temperature-controlled outer transport box.
As soon as the box arrives, we suggest discarding the outer packaging and placing the sealed platter in the fridge until it is to be consumed.
Beraing in mind that many wish to eat the platter on a Sunday, there is no problem receiving it Friday and popping it into the fridge.
If you are ordering a sharing platter, we can split the content down into two smaller platters, so they will fit most domestic fridges.
We always suggest consuming the platter within 36 hours of arrival. However, since the platter was freshly cut upon build, and if it is kept in its original packaging in the fridge, it can be stored for up to 2 days before consumption.
Then unpack the sealed platter and pop it onto the table for a true ‘drop ‘n’ graze’ experience.
